Seattle’s Dee Gordon was drilled on the wrist by a pitch from J.A. Happ in the third inning of the Yankees’ 3-1 win over the Mariners at the Stadium on Thursday night and had to leave the game.

After getting X-rays, Gordon said he was not pleased with the location of the pitch. According to ESPN, initial tests were non-conclusive. The Mariners will conduct further testing on Gordon’s wrist Friday, when they open a weekend series at Boston.

“I actually was more pissed off,’’ Gordon said of his reaction to the play. “It’s the second time he threw up and by my head. So, you got to get the ball down. If you can’t throw that pitch, don’t throw it. I got a family. So you need to get the ball down. … That’s twice.”
