Carlos Delgado is back in camp today, and he was set to play in a minor league game at Tradition Field. Delgado was away in Puerto Rico since last Friday because he and his wife had their first baby.

“He looks like me but a little lighter than me,” Delgado said of his son, Carlos Antonio.

He said he’ll definitely play on Sunday night in the opener by the way.

Lastings Milledge said this morning he would try to play today — he’s been out with a right hand contusion.

The Mets are up 8-2 on the Dodgers through five innings with John Maine pitching (David Newhan led off the game with a homer). They’ve got two games left after today — the Marlins tomorrow and the Devil Rays on Saturday.
