Carlos Delgado begins his path back to the major leagues tonight in Moosic, Pa.

The former Mets first baseman, who signed a minor-league deal with the Red Sox over the weekend, will DH tonight for Pawtucket against the Yankees Triple-A affliate, Scranton/Wilkes Barre.

Delgado is expected to play in the minors for at least 10 days in order to get into game shape.
