Nothing was able to throw off Derek Jeter on Sunday.

During his postgame press conference, an iPhone that was also being used as a recorder started buzzing on the podium in front of him.

“Someone’s phone is ringing,” Jeter said, picking up the phone to see the identity of the caller. “Walt Rheinheimer.”

It was the husband of Bergen Record columnist Tara Sullivan.

“Walt, she’ll have to call you back,” Jeter said after picking up the call.

Jeter then hung up the phone and continued taking questions.
