The Mets yesterday announced yesterday that Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Davey Johnson and Frank Cashen will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame this summer.

A new member hasn’t been added since 2002, when Tommie Agee was elected.

Gooden, estranged from the organization for several years because of lingering bitterness stemming to his 1994 departure, said he considers himself a Met.

“Deep inside I was always a Met and I always will be a Met,” Gooden said. “I’m just blessed to be in this situation.”
