Marte’s eight-game hitting streak, dating back to May 26, was snapped Thursday night. During that stretch, the 19-year-old was 13-for-32 (.406) with a homer and five RBIs.

Austin Romine, Yankees

C, Double-A Trenton

Romine currently is fourth in the Eastern League with a .320 batting average and is leading the league with 17 doubles. He has three homers and 30 RBIs for Trenton this season.
