After receiving a promotion from Low-A Savannah on June 24, Flores has been on fire for St. Lucie. The 6-foot-2 righty is hitting .469 (15-for-32) in seven games.

The Brooklyn native has been stellar in his first four starts of the year following a return from elbow surgery last summer. The 6-foot-8 right-hander is 2-0 with a 0.39 ERA, striking out 27 and walking three in 23 innings through Thursday’s games.
