Aaron Judge’s record-breaking 62nd home run got the Empire State Building treatment.

The Empire State Building sparkled its lights in Yankees blue and white colors for 62 seconds Tuesday night after Judge hit his historic home run against the Rangers in Arlington, Tex., breaking Roger Maris’ 61-year-old team and American League record.

Going back to at least Friday, the Empire State Building provided a similar treatment for Judge’s 61st homers.

Judge, 30, etched his name in history by hitting a home run to left field off Rangers pitcher Jesus Tinoco to lead off the game in the top of the first inning, sending the Yankees dugout into a frenzy. He hit the home run in the Yankees’ second-to-last game of the season, breaking the record just in time before the team finishes its regular season on Wednesday.

Judge, after going out to right field for the start of the bottom of the second, was pulled from the game by manager Aaron Boone to give the outfielder a grand exit.

While Judge got his 61st home-run ball back easily because it landed in the Blue Jays bullpen, a fan at Globe Life Field managed to catch the 62nd home-run ball — Cory Youmans, a vice president at a Dallas-area branch of Fisher Investments.

After the game, Judge was unaware of the whereabouts of the record ball, but said Youmans made a great catch and has “every right to it.”

In a bizarre twist, Youmans’ wife is a sports reporter, Bri Amaranthus. The man who retrieved Judge’s 61st home run ball, Blue Jays bullpen coach Matt Buschmann, is also the husband of a sports reporter, NFL TV personality Sara Walsh.
