The Yankees’ 11-5 loss to the Blue Jays on Friday night was delayed for several minutes prior to the top of the sixth inning as a male fan who fainted received medical attention near the Toronto dugout on the third-base side.
As several Blue Jays players looked on just a few feet away, the fan was wheeled away and was taken out of Yankee Stadium on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on. The Yankees said he was stable and alert after receiving medical attention, and was taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital as a precaution.
