A fan sprinted onto — and most of the way across — the Citi Field outfield Saturday night, causing a brief delay during the Mets’ 3-2 comeback win over the Blue Jays before a security guard decked him.

The fan, wearing a dark shirt, long pants and dark sneakers, started in left field and sprinted all the way across to the right-center area during the bottom of the fifth.

He stopped, pumped his arms into the air to fire up the crowd and then ran all the way back to left field before stopping.

As a group of security guards approached, one tackled him to the ground as the rest surrounded the fan, and they escorted him off the field as fans cheered.

The fan didn’t make contact with any of the three Toronto outfielders.
