The Mets have gone to arbitration just once since 1992 (last year with Oliver Perez) and won’t have to worry about that this year, either, after reliever Pedro Feliciano signed a $1.6125 million deal today. Feliciano, who at this point is the only left-hander in the bullpen, was the last of the Mets’ six arbitration-eligible players this offseason. The Mets also signed lefty reliever Heriberto Ruelas from the Mexican League to a minor-league deal today.
