Longtime friend of ours Brian Moritz reports in his blog for the Binghamton Press-Sun Bulletin that Fernando Martinez injured his hamstring trying to steal second base in tonight’s game for Double-A Binghamton against New Britain (Conn.) tonight. While Martinez doesn’t seem to be seriously injured, he is the No. 1 prospect in the Mets system, and probably the top prospect currently in the Bushes universe, so any injury is a big injury.
