The Mets announced that the first ever game at Citi Field sold out in 45 minutes this morning. Not a Mets game, but one between St. John’s and Georgetown on March 29. Tickets for the Big East game cost $5 throughout the park. The Mets will play their first game at their new field against the Red Sox on April 3, which is part of a two-day series with Boston.
