I’m in my hotel room in St. Louis right now, set to head over to Busch Stadium in a little bit. With the season opening tonight, this year I’m going to try to predict the outcome/winner of every Mets series.

Come to the blog before the start of each series this season to see my prediction. At the end of the year, we’ll tally ’em up and see my results. For the Cards series, I’m going to say the Mets lose two of three. St. Louis has a pitching edge tonight with Chris Carpenter, and I think that on Wednesday, Braden Looper will pitch well enough against the Mets for the Cards to win the game. So we’ll go two of three for St. Louis.
