Carlos Beltran was a late scratch from the lineup due to what the Mets described as flu-like symptoms. Beltran had been listed in his usual role as the clean-up hitter in the pregame order but Moises Alou came out instead in the first. Angel Pagan is playing center field in place of Beltran.
