When they traded for left-handed reliever Arthur Rhodes, the Marlins gave up Gaby Hernandez, the No. 6 prospect in their system per Baseball America’s preseason rankings. The right-hander, who was 3-0 with a 4.30 ERA in Double-A after a rough stretch in Triple-A, was acquired by the Marlins back in the 2005 offseason from the Mets for Paul Lo Duca.
