With Luis Castillo returning from the birth of his child, the Mets follow up Johan Santana‘s masterful start in the matinee with a chance at a four-game sweep of the Rockies at Citi Field, and a shot at a six-game winning streak.

Castillo and his wife Angie had a baby girl, Adonai, at 12:05 p.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and Castillo — hitting .400 is his last 70 a-bats — is expected at Citi Field by 5 p.m. (Let’s see any of you guys try to get away with that. I don’t recommend it).

The Mets’ young left-hander Jonathan Niese will follow up seven shutout innings in his last outing looking for an encore against Colorado lefty Jorge de la Rosa, who enters with an 8-7 record and 4.78 ERA this season. Here is the 49-51 Mets’ order for the 7:10 p.m. game:
