The Mets hope to bounce back from Saturday’s double whammy of a loss and David Wright’s concussion when Mike Pelfrey takes the mound today against the Giants at Citi Field.

Pelfrey is in a deep funk, having dropped four of his past five decisions, and the big right-hander is just 4-8 since opening the season with four consecutive victories.

Pelfrey, who is 1-1 with a 1.38 ERA in two career starts against the Giants, will take on Jonathan Sanchez. The San Francisco lefty threw a no-hitter earlier this season but is just 5-10 with a 4.61 ERA overall in 2009. Here is the 54-62 Mets’ order for the 1:10 p.m. game:
