MILWAUKEE — Fresh off taking two of three in Miami, the Mets open a potential NLDS preview here this afternoon against the hot-hitting Brewers when Johan Santana (pictured) takes on Ben Sheets at Miller Park. Santana is on a roll after a string of frustrating no-decisions, having reeled off wins in each of his past four starts. He is looking to tie Mike Pelfrey for the staff lead in wins (13) but faces a difficult task in the Brewers, who hit lefties extremely well.

The Brewers also beat him up to the tune of five earned runs on April 12 at Shea Stadium in Santana’s only start against Milwaukee this season. Conversely, Sheets is 4-2 with a 5.10 ERA in seven career outings against the Mets, winning his lone start against them this year.

As for Jerry Manuel’s order, he is doing some juggling today, putting rookie left fielder Daniel Murphy in the No. 2 hole and resting second baseman Luis Castillo — even against a righty — in favor of Damion Easley.

The Mets, who are 76-61 and lead the NL East by one game, will field an overall lineup that looks like this:

Jose Reyes SS

Daniel Murphy LF

David Wright 3B

Carlos Delgado 1B

Carlos Beltran CF

Ryan Church RF

Damion Easley 2B

Brian Schneider C

Johan Santana LHP (12-7, 2.70)

The 80-56 Brewers are countering with the following order:

Rickie Weeks 2B

J.J. Hardy SS

Ryan Braun LF

Prince Fielder 1B

Corey Hart RF

Mike Cameron CF

Bill Hall 3B

Jason Kendall C

Ben Sheets RHP (12-7, 3.05)

Game time: 2:05 p.m.

TV: SNY.
