ATLANTA — Losers of six of their past seven and newly eliminated from playoff contention, the Mets will try to get back on track here tonight when they open a three-game series with the Braves at rainy Turner Field.

Left-hander Pat Misch, who recently won his first career game, will take the mound for the Mets. Misch allowed five runs on six hits in six innings against the Marlins in his last outing, a 6-3 loss to the Marlins on Sept. 9.

Misch, who is 0-0 with a 3.00 in four career appearances against Atlanta (all in relief), will face righty Tommy Hanson. The Braves’ rookie phenom is 9-3 with a 2.83 ERA this season.
