ATLANTA — The Mets hope to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Braves here tonight when Nelson Figueroa takes the hill in the finale of a three-game series at Turner Field.

Thanks to Wednesday night’s 6-5 walk off loss on Daniel Murphy‘s fielding error, the Mets have lost four in a row and eight of their past nine to fall a season-high 20 games under .500.

Figueroa, who is 2-0 with a 4.22 ERA in 10 career games against the Braves (three of them starts), will face off against Jair Jurrjens. The hard-throwing Atlanta right-hander is 11-10 this season despite a stellar 2.81 ERA.
