(UPDATED) LOS ANGELES — The Mets will try to bounce back from their five-error disaster here Monday night when John Maine takes the hill against the Dodgers this evening at Dodger Stadium. Maine has come on strong lately, giving up just six earned runs in his past four starts (24 2/3 innings). He is just 1-3 with a 4.15 ERA in five career games against the Dodgers but won his only start here last season.

Maine will square off against LA right-hander Chad Billingsley, who has been one of the keys to the Dodgers’ blazing-hot start. Billingsley also is 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA in three career games against the Mets, so that’s not promising.

Here is the 21-17 Mets’ order for the 10:10 p.m. game:

Jose Reyes SS

Daniel Murphy LF

Carlos Beltran CF

David Wright 3B

Ryan Church RF

Ramon Martinez 2B

Jeremy Reed 1B

Omir Santos C

John Maine RHP (3-2, 4.24)

The 27-13 Dodgers will counter with:

Juan Pierre LF

Rafael Furcal SS

Orlando Hudson 2B

Andre Ethier RF

Russell Martin C

James Loney 1B

Matt Kemp CF

Casey Blake 3B

Chad Billingsley RHP (5-1, 2.30)
