Game 64: Mets at Orioles
(UPDATED) BALTIMORE — The Mets look to bounce back from Wednesday’s loss and claim this interleague series with the Orioles when Livan Hernandez takes the mound here tonight at Camden Yards. Hernandez was rocked in his last outing, giving up six runs on seven hits (including three home runs) last Friday against the Yankees but remains 4-0 with a 3.33 ERA in his past eight starts.
Hernandez is 3-1 with a 3.94 ERA in five career starts against the Orioles but hasn’t faced them since June 23, 2007, and hasn’t faced them in Baltimore in three years.
The veteran right-hander will square off against O’s righty Jason Berken, who is facing the Mets for the first time in his brief career. He is 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA in three home starts.
