The lineups are ready as the Mets try to keep the good feelings from Tuesday’s 7-4 win over the Cardinals going here tonight behind Pedro Martinez. This is a big start for Pedro, who has been battered in each of his past two starts and is sporting an ugly 7.12 ERA. Martinez confirmed today that, from talking to teammates and studying the tapes, he was tipping his change-up in his recent starts. We’ll see tonight if the proper adjustments have been made.

As for Jerry Manuel’s lineup, the Mets’ interim boss is sticking with Carlos Delgado in the No. 6 spot after flipping him with Ryan Church worked so well Tuesday. Damion Easley also gets another start at second for the ailing Luis Castillo.

Here is the order for the 41-42 Mets:

Jose Reyes SS

Endy Chavez LF

David Wright 3B

Carlos Beltran CF

Ryan Church RF

Carlos Delgado 1B

Damion Easley 2B

Brian Schneider 2B

Pedro Martinez RHP (2-2, 7.12)

The 48-37 Cardinals will field the following lineup:

Skip Schumaker LF

Aaron Miles 2B

Albert Pujols 1B

Rick Ankiel CF

Troy Glaus 3B

Ryan Ludwick RF

Jason LaRue C

Joel Pineiro RHP (2-4, 4.33)
