The Mets look to make it five in a row tonight when they ride Johan Santana (pictured) against the Giants and lefty Jonathan Sanchez. A five-game winning streak would equal the Mets’ longest this year and their longest since the end of the 2006 season. Santana takes the mound for the mets looking for his eighth victory of the season.

Before the game, the 46-44 Mets put Tony Armas Jr. on the disabled list with an abdominal muscle strain. Carlos Muniz was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans and is expected to be arrive at Shea Saturday sometime during tonight’s game.
