The Mets will try to extend their season-high six game winning streak at home tonight when Oliver Perez (pictured) takes on the Rockies and Aaron Cook. The inconsistent Perez has been on a bit of a hot streak lately, winning each of his past two starts while pitching through the seventh inning both times. He has faced the Rockies once this season, getting a no-decision May 23 in Denver in a game the Mets lost in 13 innings.
