Gary Sanchez unfortunately provided a moment of comedy during the four hours of drama that was the Yankees’ wild-card win over the Twins on Tuesday night.
The catcher took a foul ball to the groin off the bat of Brian Dozier, eliciting painful reactions both from himself and pitcher David Robertson. But Sanchez tweeted on Wednesday morning that he had recovered nicely from the cringe-worthy moment.
