The results of the baby Cole arrival poll are in.

Two days before Yankees ace Gerrit Cole and wife Amy welcomed their first child, son Caden, the then-mom-to-be polled her Instagram followers as to which event would take place first, baby or baseball’s restart. On Tuesday, mom Amy revealed more than half of her fans guessed correctly.

“57 percent of you were right! Went into labor right on his due date!” Amy posted to her Instagram story.

Amy gave birth to Caden on June 30, while the Yankees first workout was not until July 4. The Coles’ newest teammate weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz.

“Amy is doing excellent and he is doing excellent,” new dad Cole told the media Friday. “He’s strong. He’s a good mix of his dad and his mom. He’s a little towhead. He’s absolutely adorable. He’s got big blue eyes and gosh I just can’t stop staring at him.”

Caden made his Instagram debut on Monday night, with Amy also sharing a close-up snap of her little boy on Tuesday afternoon.

“‘LOL Mom, you’re too much! Don’t make me wet another diaper!’ -Cade, probably. #oneweekwithmybaby,” she captioned her post.

The Coles have been married since 2016.
