ANAHEIM, Calif. — While running through the long list of his players on the IL — that now includes Clint Frazier — Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Giancarlo Stanton had a residual problem in his left shoulder that required a cortisone shot.

He is on the IL with a strained left biceps.

“He has had some residual stuff with his shoulder,’’ Boone said before the Yankees’ 7-5 win over the Angels on Wednesday night. “He got a shot, here, a couple of days ago. So he is in Day 2 or 3 of not swinging.’’

According to Boone, Stanton will remain in Southern California to work with a rehab specialist and rejoin the team in Arizona next week. No date has been given when Stanton, who has been out since April 1 and has played in three games, will return.

Miguel Andujar is one of four players working out in Tampa. No decision has been made whether to operate on his right shoulder and Boone said the third baseman is making progress.

“Not a final decision but it seems Miggy is doing really well,’’ Boone said. “There is a chance this weekend he could start getting some at-bats in extended spring and maybe start making a decision as far as a rehab assignment or something like that.’’

Based on what Boone saw from Andujar’s throwing program at home on Sunday, he wasn’t throwing 100 percent, but “he was getting after it. Watching it, it was encouraging.’’

Boone said Troy Tulowitzki (left calf strain) could be close to playing in extended spring games. Boone also said Aaron Hicks (lower back strain) did all of his outfield work on Wednesday and was getting close to facing live pitching. … Didi Gregorius (Tommy John surgery on right elbow) is making throws from shortstop and taking batting practice on the field.

In addition to having reached base in 35 straight games, Luke Voit’s 11-game hitting streak is the longest by a Yankee this season.

He also had hit 20 homers in 55 games since Aug. 24, 2018, leading the AL during that stretch.

With 62 career triples, Brett Gardner started Wednesday with the Yankees’ third-most triples since 1950. Mickey Mantle (72) and Derek Jeter (66) are first and second. He went 0-for-4.

The Yankees have pitched Mike Trout carefully in the first three games against the Angels, and it’s paying off. Yankees pitchers limited the best player in baseball to one hit in nine at-bats and walked him five times (once intentionally).
