Add the Giants to the mix in the never-ending courtship of Bryce Harper.

The free agent met with Giants executives on Tuesday in Las Vegas, league sources with knowledge of the confab told ESPN.

The Giants, however, are just one of many teams that have met with Harper. The Phillies, White Sox, Padres, Dodgers and the Nationals, with whom Harper spent the first seven seasons of his career, also have talked to the outfielder.

Though the Giants have the financial wherewithal to make a run at Harper, San Francisco isn’t considered a strong fit because it is expected to be in rebuild mode the next couple of years, according to the report. Also, the aging core might not be ideal for the 26-year-old Harper.

The longer Harper is on the market, the better it could be for his suitors, especially the Phillies.

Harper’s meeting with the Giants was first reported by NJ.com.
