JUPITER, Fla. — With just one more day after this left in spring training, the Mets are sending a backup- and prospect-filled lineup here today against the Cardinals for Johan Santana‘s final Grapefruit League start. Among the prospects is young second baseman Jonathan Malo, a favorite of Jerry Manuel this spring whose spring highlight was an inside-the-park home run Tuesday night (also in Jupiter) against the Marlins.
