TAMPA — Hank Steinbrenner’s knowledge of boxing and his performance in “Henry And Me” where he is the voice behind his father, has landed him a part in an upcoming move about former boxer Arturo Gatti.
“We are talking multiple things, he will be involved in some shape or form,” Sandy Kyrkostas, told The Post.
Kyrkostas, whose company 24 P Media Group is working with Pat Lynch, Gatti’s business partner and manager, to tell the boxer’s story.
Gatti, an IBF Super Featherweight champ and WBC Lightweight title holder, was found dead in Brazil in 2011 while on vacation.
“I met with Hank (Wednesday) and he knows so much about boxing,” said Kyrkostas, who explained the movie will begin shooting in the fall and told through Lynch’s eyes.
One possible title is “Thunder Gatti.” Thunder was Gatti’s nickname.
