The Yankees’ talented but oft-injured prospect Alan Horne has, once again, been reinstated from the disabled list, and has been transferred to Low-A Charleston from the Gulf Coast League Yankees. Since being named the Eastern League’s Pitcher of the Year in 2007 after going 12-4 with a 3.11 ERA in 27 starts for the Trenton Thunder, Horne has spent practically the entire last two seasons on the disabled list. He made 11 appearances last year between High-A Tampa and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre, and made five appearances for Trenton this season.

In his five appearances (four starts) this season, Horne is 0-3 with a 11.15 ERA.
