Callie Quinn should expect a photo bomb from Mr. Met should the New Dorp High School senior’s dream of taking prom photos at Citi Field become a reality.

After a Twitter message to the Mets on Thursday asking if she could take prom snaps with some of the players at the stadium, the team issued terms of the deal Friday, requesting 500,000 retweets for the May 18 photo-op. As of Tuesday, the Staten Island student is well on her way to meeting the goal, with over 330,000 retweets, and counting, for #CalliesMetsProm.

“I’ve been a Mets fan my entire life. There’s actually a picture of me in Shea Stadium at nine months old,” Quinn, 17, told The Post on Tuesday. “My friends had dates to prom and everything, and I was like, you know what, I’m just going to go with the Mets.”

Encouraged by two friends, Quinn, whose middle name “Shaye” is a nod to the Mets’ former home, Shea Stadium, went forth with the quest, which has since become a viral success.

“They were like, ‘You have to do this,’ and I was like, ‘I’ll do it, we’ll see what happens,'” Quinn said. “I just kind of did it and they thought it was awesome.”

With retweets from William Shatner, Donnie Wahlberg and Mr. Met himself, Quinn is hopeful to share a special moment with her favorite player, Noah Syndergaard.

“He’s just super funny and a cool guy, I think he’s really awesome,” Quinn said of the 25-year-old pitcher. “I’ve loved him since he hit the major leagues in 2015, and I think he’s just great.”

Though the Mets will be on the road in Milwaukee on Friday, May 25, the actual date of Quinn’s prom, she doesn’t mind going glam two weeks in a row. All she needs next, however, is a dress.

“I definitely have to get a blue dress, but I was planning on getting a blue dress even before this whole thing,” Quinn said.
