The Yankees were rained out for the second time in five days on Friday, but it won’t impact have much of an impact on their rotation.

CC Sabathia, who was slated to start Friday’s game against the Royals, will take the mound for the makeup game on Saturday night, with Luis Severino staying on schedule for his start in the originally scheduled 1:05 p.m. opener.

Severino is 8-0 with a 1.88 ERA in eight afternoon starts this season, compared to 6-3 with a 3.12 ERA in 13 starts at night, while Sabathia is 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA in three day outings and 5-3 with a 3.65 ERA in 15 appearances at night.

J.A. Happ, who was acquired from Toronto on Thursday, will make his Bronx debut Sunday afternoon. The left-hander was supposed to arrive at Yankee Stadium on Friday, but his flight was cancelled due to weather and he is expected to make it Saturday.

Boone said Happ would have pitched Sunday regardless of when he made it to The Bronx from Toronto.

Because of Saturday’s split doubleheader, Monday remains an off day, with Masahiro Tanaka in line to face the Orioles on Tuesday at the Stadium.
