It will only be a one-week absence for Howie Rose.

The beloved Mets radio voice tweeted he would be back on the air for WCBS on Tuesday when the Mets visit the Cubs in Chicago. He had been away since last Tuesday for an undisclosed medical reason.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind thoughts and wishes this past week,” Rose tweeted. “I’ve been dealing with a medical issue which is being treated but thankfully will be back in the booth tomorrow night. Missed you a lot and can’t wait to return. Much love to all.”

Rose’s issue is not thought to be COVD-19 related. He tweeted in January that he received his first vaccine shot and said recently on the air he was fully vaccinated.
