Like father, like daughter.

Alyssa Rose, daughter of Mets radio play-by-play fixture Howie Rose, will be joining the Amazin’s as the club’s social media correspondent. Alyssa confirmed the news on Friday, fittingly on Twitter.

“My whole life goal has been to follow in my dad’s footsteps, but I never thought it would actually happen,” Alyssa, 28, told The Post. “Joining the Mets organization in an on-camera capacity is something I thought would be a forever-fantasy. I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity.”

Making her debut Tuesday, May 1, as the Mets take on the Braves, Alyssa will be reporting from the sideline, as well as sharing videos featuring members of the organization. The content will be featured on the Mets’ social media platforms.

Before joining the Mets, Alyssa was previously one-third of Barstool Sports’ podcast, “Swipe Drunk Love.” She also writes for the independently-operated Mets fan site, The 7 Line.
