Chad Green, who was sent down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after a brutal start to the year, had another successful outing Friday, throwing three perfect innings and striking out six after making some mechanical adjustments.

Green could fill a “multi-inning role out of the bullpen,’’ manager Aaron Boone said after the Yankees’ 6-3 win over the Twins in The Bronx.

Tommy Kahnle attributed much of his turnaround this season to a mechanical adjustment he made with his hips at the end of spring training when the team was in Washington for an exhibition game against the Nationals, and now feels he’s close to the form he showed down the stretch with the Yankees in 2017, when he became a key part of the bullpen before a disastrous 2018 season.

“I’m not there yet, where everything was easy for me,’’ Kahnle said before Friday’s game. “But I feel better than at any point last year and I think I’m getting to the point where I was when I was pitching well that [2017] season.’’

The right-hander threw another perfect inning Friday and has retired 27 of the last 29 batters he’s faced. Other than a bad outing against the Astros on April 10, Kahnle has been effective.

Cameron Maybin, who the Yankees traded for when Clint Frazier injured his ankle, played his first home game with the team on Friday.

“I feel like when I was a kid and always dreamed of wearing the pinstripes,’’ said Maybin, who reached base two more times and has been on base in 11 of 20 plate appearances as a Yankee. “I would come here with other teams and it would excite me, the energy that was always here.”
