Jay Bruce told The Post he intends to seek out Keith Hernandez on the next homestand as part of his ongoing education at first base. Bruce has sought advice recently from Anthony Rizzo, Brandon Belt and Joey Votto.

“Keith was one of the best,” Bruce said. “I want to get as many different perspectives as I can.”

Hernandez — who worked the SNY broadcasts in San Francisco over the weekend, but is off for the Dodgers series — appears willing to help.

“I’ll be readily available for Jay,” Hernandez said in a text message to The Post. “I look forward to it.”
