TORONTO — Derek Jeter returns to the Yankees lineup tonight after not starting Monday’s series opener against the Blue Jays to get some rest.

Jeter pinch hit and made the final out of the game in a 3-2 loss.

Marcus Thames also is in the lineup as DH, with Austin Kearns the starter in left field.
