Yankees manager Joe Girardi used the 75-minute plane ride from New York to Cleveland to clear his mind.

“I tried to relax and I watched a movie on the flight. When I get a chance to turn my mind off I try to because I have reflected a lot in the last six or seven days,’’ Girardi said Tuesday before the Yankees battle the Indians in Game 5 of the ALDS Wednesday. “So, when I get a chance I turn it off.’’

Girardi watched “Megan Leavey.’’

“It’s an outstanding movie if you haven’t seen it,’’ Girardi said. “I think it’s outstanding and a little bit emotional, too.’’
