Joe Girardi wants to manage again, and the Mets are going to pick his brain.

The former Yankees manager and current television analyst will be interviewed for the Mets’ vacant manager position, The Post’s Mike Puma confirmed. MLB Network’s Jon Heyman first reported the Mets will interview Girardi.

Brodie Van Wagenen is conducting a first wave of interviews. He will then formulate a list of candidates to get in-person interviews with Mets brass.

Girardi is reportedly interviewing with the Cubs on Wednesday for their open managerial position.

The Mets fired Mickey Callaway last week after two disappointing seasons. The Post previously reported the Mets started contacting candidates.
