The fact that Andruw Jones is not in the Yankees lineup against Red Sox lefty Jon Lester on Tuesday night is not a good sign for the reserve outfielder’s postseason outlook.

If this lineup is any indication, the Yankees are likely to keep him off the postseason roster. The Yankees chose to start Eduardo Nunez at DH over Jones on Tuesday as the team looks to move closer to an AL East title.

Jones did start Saturday against Blue Jays southpaw Ricky Romero, going 0-for-2 with two strike outs. It finished a rough month for Jones, who went 4-for-29 (.138) in September.
