MIAMI — The Mets completed their bench with a somewhat surprising move this morning, tabbing Brady Clark. Clark got the last-minute nod over Fernando Tatis, even though the Mets had said they liked Tatis’ versatility.

Clark is safe until Moises Alou returns from hernia surgery in late April or early May.
