It was one of those games where because so many other things happened, a lot of guys who deserved credit and blame got overshadowed.
Paul Lo Duca got overlooked for starting the ninth-inning rally with a double — a huge hit. Scott Schoeneweis entered in the sixth inning with two on and two outs and got Jeremy Hermida to ground out — a big out.
But blame should also go to a few guys who escaped it — Tom Glavine did a horrible job of blowing the 3-0 lead in the fifth inning, especially giving up a three-run homer to Miguel Cabrera.
Also, Pedro Feliciano began the ninth inning with Billy Wagner unavailable and proceeded to give up a leadoff single to Hermida, sparking the whole game-tying rally. Terrible.
Then there was Carlos Beltran, who came up with men on his first four times last night and got out every time before hitting an RBI single in the ninth.
