Phew. The Mets hung on Sunday by a thread to take two of three from the Phillies in what turned out to be a wild weekend. The Phillies probably should burn any game tape from Sunday, as they looked downright atrocious. The Mets took advantage of some lazy defense and some help by a ball coming two inches from tying the game. They found a way to win despite ineptitude from manager Luis Rojas, who has hurt them multiple times early this season.

- METS-PHILLIES: Incredible game Sunday, but Figgie saw too much bad baseball. Why is Rojas putting Edwin Diaz in a four-run game and having him pitch a second night in a row? The Phillies were a joke on Sunday with their defense. Alvarado is a clown and clueless out there.
- FIGGIE RANT: Figgie goes off, saying Dom Smith should have went after Alvarado and threw some fists. There is a respect factor in MLB and he was disrespected. Would rather Dom get suspended than not fighting Alvarado on Friday.
- LINDOR: Swings are lazy, his approach is bad, he may need a day or two off to get his mind right. He has a tired swing from batting practices. His defense has been great, but for $341 million, he has to hit.
