The biggest question: will the Mets choose to spend well above slot on a player like Manny Machado, Drew Pomeranz, Matt Harvey or Zack Cox? Or will they stick to slot, as they have done for the vast majority of the time in the past, and take a player like Justin O’Conner? We will know within the hour.
