An MRI exam in New York today showed that John Maine (pictured) suffered a mild strain of his right rotator cuff. The Mets are listing him as day-to-day, as per their custom, although it appears likely Maine will miss at least one start. Maine was lifted after just 4 1/3 innings Monday because of soreness in the shoulder.
