Mets GM Omar Minaya confirmed this morning that the Mets are still in negotiations with Jerry Manuel about lifting the interim tag. Manuel (pictured) reportedly has been offered a two-year deal but has yet to accept it. Minaya expressed confidence that Manuel would ultimately decide to come back.
