Just in case Matt Harvey doesn’t have enough to consider, his next scheduled start will come against arguably the American League’s best pitcher.

Because of a postponement Thursday, the White Sox rotation now aligns with stud lefty Chris Sale set to face Harvey on Monday afternoon.

Sale, who is 9-1 with a 2.26 ERA, will follow Clayton Kershaw into Citi Field. The Dodgers’ ace is scheduled to face the Mets on Sunday night.

Harvey, who is 3-7 with a 6.08 ERA, might be best served forgetting his mound opponent Monday. The Mets righty is clinging to his spot in the rotation after three straight brutal performances, including a three-homer barrage by the Nationals on Tuesday.

After discussing the situation with general manager Sandy Alderson and pitching coach Dan Warthen on Wednesday, manager Terry Collins announced Harvey would remain in the rotation instead of skipping a start to take a mental break or receiving a stint at Triple-A Las Vegas.
